At the time he fought them, who were the best? You are looking at someone's resume through the prism of what you know TODAY.

Is Pacquiao the p4p best? Has he fought the best at either LW or WW? It's funny. Everybody agrees that Pac is #1 p4p. Pac's last two opponents? Delahoya and Hatton.

I never seen a fighter judge so much in retrospect rather than judge then what the fighters were at the moment. than how people do floyd.

That's like me saying Pavlik should have fought Abraham instead of Taylor the first time. Because Abraham would be a tougher challenge. And everybody knows that Pavlik shouldnt waste his time fighting taylor because He is just going to KO taylor and taylor is not a real challenge the way Abraham is. pavlik was ducking real challenges by fighting taylor instead of Abraham.
Although Taylor was the undisputed Champion and lineal MW champion at the time When Pavlik fought him.
And Avraham was really just a contender.

And then he fought Oscar. Say what you want about Oscar being past his prime, but DLH was one of the 3 best at 154.

And then he fought the guy who many posters on here were previously saying would be his toughest fight. A #8 p4p ranked reigning champion at JWW.

Are you insane? Margarito is the legitimate WW titlist and destroyed Cotto to get it. NOBODY destroys Miguel Cotto. Margarito did. Margarito is at the top of his game and name right now.
