Max Kellerman ranks Bernard Hopkins among the best middleweights of all time...

No doubt about it, this guy knows his stuff. He said on the radio a couple minutes ago, that he ranks Hopkins at the 4th best middle weight EVER. I would have to agree. I might put him down at 5 or 6. But i could see him a 4.

But on this site, on of the news articles said that ranking him above the 20th best of all time middleweights was pushing it. I initially though "wth? he is definetly top 10 meterial!" but as i read some other stuff about hopkins, i though maybe he was only top 20 meterial. but now im sure that i wasnt crazy. i agree with max on this one

      Hagler
      Greb
      Monzon
      Hopkins
      Robinson

These guys are all so close in terms of their greatness that it's hard for me to even attempt to rank them.

it is so hard ranking middleweights because of the enormous depth of the division. monzon is my number 1 and it will always stay that way.

You havn't listened to Max Kellerman much have you? This guy Kellerman loves to exaggerate boxers. He said Mark Johnson was one of the best little guys ever and would be world champion again and dominate, we know what happened.

If Hopkins is 4th then you better rank Jermanine Taylor at number #3.

in hopkins time the division wasn't deep and the division got a new commer to the division and defeated the champion, if hopkins was a 4 great all-time then he would have had the heart and will to go for a ko or get ko'd. Hopkins didn't show he belonged with the all=time greats at least not in number 4.

I couldn't rate them cause im not to familar with the older fighters. Only what i hear about the older fighters and from fights i've seen of some. To me to be in the all-time list when you lose or are about to lose, this tells a lot about a fighter.
