  • Ricky Hatton vs Floyd Mayweather - A fight that HAS to happen!

In a World of boxing where we have 8 or 9 World sanctioning bodies, TV networks with all the power, fight ducking, excuses, paper champs, corruption, and confusion... A fight that REALLY needs to happen for the good of us boxing fans is Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton vs "Pretty Boy" Floyd Mayweather!

P4P two of the best fighters in the WORLD in the most talented division squaring off for supremecy! It's a Boxing fans dream!

    So who wins and why?

Or more importantly... Why won't the fight happen and why?

(p.s... Showtime don't hold rights on Hatton, and HBO don't hold rights on Mayweather).

this fight does have to happen, asap. i need it, cause this would be nothing short of a nuclear war in the ring. both have the potential to beat one another, just depends who's night is it to win.....

At this point, there is no reason for ANYONE to duck Mayweather. If you beat him, (especially if you're undefeated Ricky Hatton who just knocked off another p4p fighter), you're the number one fighter in the world!!!! There is so much to gain and so little to lose in fighting Mayweather that I don't see why EVERYONE isn't calling him out from 130 all the way to 154!

I won't consider Hatton a true champion for accepting a fight with Mayweather; I'll consider him an IDIOT if he doesn't!!

This fight won't happen anytime soon for two reasons:

          1) After Floyd's domination of Gatti, Warren's in no hurry to risk his cash cow against him.

          2) Neither one of them are willing to cross the Atlantic to fight one another.

This might be a closer fight than most may think. Although the home ring advantage would probably help Hatton more at this point. It's definately a fight I'd like to see as well as Hatton vs Tszyu 2 , or Mayweather vs Tszyu.

i think floyd wins this fight hatton will not be able to use the same style he used against tszyu floyd is to quick and will catch him with combinations as soon as hatton puts his head down and tries to bull rush him pbf is superior in every aspect except power but with floyd it does not matter almost every fighter he fights has the dege in power and it has not helped them ...but like many i think this fight will not happen unless hatton comes to the states if i were pbf i would fight hatton in englad but not with a european referee or judges ..have nady or cortes referee the fight and hatton won't be able to use his dirty tactics ....

PBF is too quick for Hatton. I've said it before and I'll say it again, Hatton is light years away from PBF's boxing ability. PBF is an excellent inside puncher, if Hatton uses his dirty tactics on PBF, the fights over. PBF will just expose him. Floyd's power is very underated IMO.

It would be a good fight, and I would like to see Hatton win, simply because of the fact, and don't hate me for this I'm just being real, I'm a Mayweather hater. But at the same time I know Mayweather would probably use his speed advantage to get the better of Hatton. I think I would rather see Mayweather vs Judah.

Brings back memories. Like I said Hatton before fighting Mayweather was a bum and by the time Pac fought him, he was a washed up coke head with no trainer. Yet still a bum. I even said that Pac would beat Hatton so bad that some people would try to say that Pac could beat Mayweather.....

Its funny that no Pac "fan boys" were around back on 2005 like the delusional ones we have today.... good times.

(Yeaaa for boxing and the exciting match up for a 3rd time in a row for Pac and fighting losers.....)
