What was the closer fight: Hopkins – Calzaghe or PBF vs. Oscar?

Which fight was closer and you could have a reason to argue the result of that fight. Calzaghe got knocked down. Mayweather also won by a SD, but Oscar did give him rouble with his speed.

To be honest I was thinking about this and couldn't pick an answer

    Your thoughts???

PS: This thread is about to glorify Mayweather or discredit Calzaghe. It’s a honest dead set question.

    hopkins-calzaghe,

i watched the fight again, i didnt score it but i still feel hopkins won,

i really dont like that slapping bull****, either way it was a very close fight that really came down to quantity of punches or quality,

alot of rounds were tought to score,

as for the oscar-floyd fight, i had that 8 rounds to 4 in favour of Floyd,

i thought he won quite clearly but there wasnt much action in the fight

        Calzaghe-Hopkins was closer IMO.

And it wasn't really DLH's speed that gave Mayweather problems, it was DLH's jab, he has always had a very, very good jab.

i thought Mayweather's win was pretty clear and Calzaghe vs Hopkins was a 1 point difference either way or draw

          so Mayweather - ODLH

B-Hop-Joe was the closer fight IMO. I thought Floyd beat Oscar pretty clearly. Oscar's efforts that night pretty much defined ineffective aggression.

Judge Jerry Roth scored the last round for Mayweather, the only judge to do so. Had he scored the twelfth for De La Hoya, the fight would have been a draw. But yeah I have to agree Hopkins - Calzaghe was the closer fight

I scored both fights to the guy that ended up a winner. Except, I had Calzaghe winning 114-113, and Mayweather winning 116-112. That leaves room for Floyd to lose an extra round and still win, But Calzaghe only won, If Hopkins took 1 other round he would have taken the fight on my scorecard.

                So, Hopkins-Calzaghe was closer imo.

Hopkins Calz.....Ive watched it 2 times, and am actually set to tonight....Ive scored it 6 apiece with Hopkins winning by the KD, and I scored it 7-5 for Joe, winning despite the KD, again i will watch this probably another 3-4 times scoring it, although everytime i just watch it, I see Hopkins landing the cleaner shots and controlling the fight.......

Floyd won the fight clearly......I also had it 116-112, i had it split in the first 6, 3 apiece, I had Floyd winning the next 5 rounds hands down, he dominated, outlanding DLH by an avg. of about 15 punches in those rounds, and landed the HARDER CLEANER SHOTS...DLH won round 12 on my cards...And everytime I score this I have had the same exact socrecard each time, not once has it been different yet to date...,....

Floyd landed the cleaner shots on Oscar to really win the rounds clearly. I think Oscar-PBF is pretty easy to tell who won what round (minus round 8, I scored that for Oscar, but it was close)

Hopkins-Calzaghe was a lot more closer and it could have gone either way imo.
