  • Comments Thread For: Omar Narvaez Eyes Daiki Kameda Title Unification

WBO super flyweight world champion Omar Narvaez (41-1-2, 22KOs) of Argentina is very interested in a unification with IBF champ Daiki Kameda (29-4, 18KOs) of Japan.

Narvaez went three for three in 2013, winning a close twelve round split decision over Felipe Orucuta in May and then knocking out Hiroyuki in August and David Carmona in December.

Narvaez would want a record purse for himself to leave Argentina

Wow when you look at his one loss and think it was in a fight he didn't have a chance in. Jumping 2 wieght classes against Donaire ,it kinda sucks. Then again I don't know too much on that weight class. Is he that good or is it lack of competition ? I only saw him against nonito and that's not a good gauge .

In neutral setting, Narvaez wins handily, but it will be in Japan and we will see how that turns out. Solis got the decision over Kameda in Japan, so maybe Narvaez gets a fair shake
