He could've won a title, had enough talent.

Modern day Charley Burley, but no power...which significantly impacted his performance.

Nice comparison. Have you ever seen a fighter get robbed so many times? Gave Floyd one of his toughest fights and the fight against Ward was the greatest fight in the history of ESPN FNF's

Lots of talent, with better management probably would've been a world champion. Put in some very good performances but sometimes showed up and seemed to never put his whole effort into it. One of the most entertaining fighters I've seen, not only was he in entertaining fights but he always went out of his way to entertain the fans.

              No.Hurtado dominated Augustus.It wasn't a close fight at all.

He's been robbed blatantly a couple of times but certainly not in this case.

He's definately a hell of alot better than his record indicates, but he's also overrated by many who think he could have been anything more than a solid contender at best.

Mayweather claims that Augustus gave him his toughest fight although we all know he's just saying that to try and discredit Jose Luis Castillo and pretend as if his struggles with the Mexican never happened.

He fought the Castillo fight with a nagging injury from a recently dislocated shoulder if I recall - his own injury contributed as much to Castillo's success as his skill level, so I think the comment (which was made years ago) was likely fairly objective. He dominated Castillo so thoroughly in the rematch that it lends credence to his take.

This is a myth made up by the Mayweather fanboys.Mayweather never dominated Castillo in the rematch.Castillo won in the very least four rounds and it can be argued that he deserved five. When you take into consideration that no other fighter has won as many rounds against Mayweather than Castillo has then Mayweather's excuses fall flat on it's face.

What lead following the Castillo bouts was over four years of chicken****ting by Mayweather.

Emanuel would have done much better with better management, I can't say for sure he would win a title but now days titles are much easier to get. It's sad to see him stopped so much these days because he was a very entertaining fighter.
