  • Comments Thread For: Pascal-Erdei Clash Falls Through Over Available Funds

A potential light heavyweight clash between former champions, Jean Pascal (26-2-1, 16 KOs) and Zsolt Erdei (33-0, 18 KOs), has fallen through. According to sources with knowledge of the negotiations, there wasn't enough money on table to make the fight possible for a Showtime televised doubleheader on April 14th.

Erdei seems like he can't get a legit fight even when his promoters try to set him up in one, which isn't often. Stupidly wasted talent

Pascal should man up and fight Sillakh. A win over him puts him right back into the mix for the Hopkins-Dawson winner, Cleverly, or Campillo.

Tavoris Cloud is s**t, told people that for awhile.

As far as I know Showtime liked the Pascal Sillakh fight and were willing to do that one.

This makes Pascals promoter look stupid.

Now he doesn't even have a fight.

Sillakh is no more of a "prospect" than Pascal, as a matter of fact the WBC has Sillakh ranked higher.

Pascal dont want a fight, he wants to take the same trail Cleverly is on.
