I have a theory. That people with larger adrenaline glands are better athletes.
All people are different. Some people sweat more than others because of over active sweat glands. Some people have huge Thyroid glands which effect there body in different ways.
Can't this be the same with adrenaline glands? For example, some boxers get dropped hard and are able to get off the floor and come back fighting harder than before they were floored. Maybe bigger adrenaline glands equals better recovery for them. I guess this could work in others sports such as sprinting also.
Its just a theory of mine. I don't know if there is medical evidence about this.
Opinions please
