photography is an art form and taking pictures of live fights is about as hard as it gets. that right moment comes and goes in a split second, by that time you need to already be in the right position and take the shot at the perfect moment.

the pictures were great and they really told a story, which is what they are supposed to do. im not even a fan of watching pictures, never had facebook and dont really see the point in random pictures. but these arent random, they captured something special.

Sure, but a special picture only comes with luck. Geting one with the perfect facial expression, muscular pose and all of that..you can't prepare for that. Hell they don't even know just how good the picture they took is untill they check it out afterwards.

its about timing and positioning more than anything, not to mention having the ability to read whats going to happen in advance so you are prepared to take the picture.

its really not about luck, perhaps you need just a bit but that could be said of anything.
