              ^

I dont think this is pro lucifer song. hes saying hes trying to chase the devils out his life. Basically what hes saying is that we all have sinned and that he hopes god forgives us unperfect people...because really its the devils fault(atleast partially) we sin, because he tempts us constantly. thats how i took it. thats why he said, "please blame it on the son of the mournin"

I think I got the last verse. hes talking about a close friend who died in a car crash. same one from lost ones. thats why he said curse the day that birth the bastard who caused your church mass. hes talking about cursing the guy who caused the car crash. the he says reverse the crash, reverse the blast.....its all about this friend that he had who died in a car crash.

he goes on to ask god to let him in, despite the fact the he has sinned.

Seems a little over the top to go out on Jay-Z for not promoting the church, since he's agnostic and don't believe in it to begin with..

but I dont think he hates jesus or its anything like that. as i said earlier, he wears a jesus piece. if someone really disliked jesus christ, i dont think they would do that, even for style. As I said earlier, I think he was saying how the city makes it hard for jesus to save someone because once church ends, its back to the city. and the city is filled with the devil. to me the third verse was a story about young girls in new york that come there for innocent reasons, but get currupted. if jay-z was saying sinning is good, would he say, don't bite the apple eve? i dont this so. but i could be wrong.

Thanks, Truth. I respect that perspective.

I wasn't implying and devil worship, Masonic, NWO, etc. Some even said that Hov is an Illuminato.

I just wanted to remind us that Jay has had controversial/religion-themed lyrics a lot.
