  • Comments Thread For: Frank Warren on Hearn's Handling of Froch-Kessler, Brook

Sheffield welterweight Kell Brook's world title aspirations were placed in limbo this week when St Louis's Devon Alexander cried off from their pending IBF championship fight, scheduled for Detroit on February 23rd. On Monday, the US southpaw withdrew citing a bicep injury. However, on Tuesday WBC champion Floyd 'Money' Mayweather - now back at large after serving a two month prison term for domestic battery – tweeted that he was close to confirming terms to meet 'Alexander The Great' in a unification spat for his comeback fight in Las Vegas on May 4th.

Laughable ramblings against Hearn, a long-time rival who's simply gotten well ahead of him in the game. One word. Jealous.

what a c**t........ and as for brook being the wbo mandatory 2 years ago, i believe manny was champion at the time so that mandatory postion wasn't really relevant...... no disrespect to brook but manny had much bigger fights on the radar.

                  FW's opinions are absolutely meaningless.

He was one of the principle reasons that PPV was shelved in the UK after dozens of his p*ss poor shows fell apart the week before the event - he was the master at making 1no interesting fight, then loading it with utter crap.

Infact, the Calzaghe v Kessler card was one of the cheapest, tedious cards supporting a decent fight in the history of British boxing.

The stadium was about minus 5 degrees by the time the main event started about 2.30am in the morning.

Then Im sure i read the stadium entered into a legal dispute for non-payment afterwards didnt it ?

Brook had the chance to fight Mike Jones for a the number one spot or for a vacant title when with Warren. Not a lot has changed since then, so i have to agree with Warren on this one.
