Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas - Junior welterweight destroyer Lucas Matthysse (32-2, 30 KOs) beat down previously unbeaten Olusegun Ajose (30-1, 14 KOs) to captured the vacant WBC interim-world championship. He punished Ajose in every single round and broke him apart until a barrage of hard punches finally sent Ajose down at the end of the tenth round, and the referee waved it off. i have to agree with mrmojo because this guy is a pitbull!!but not with ayomadu, i think garcia can do well vis lucas. it's a fight i'd love to see.

Fight of the night, all the other fights were a bust with the exception of Ward/Dawson that was a dominating performance by Ward.

This was a great fight & out of all the fights this weekend, this 1 was the best..I knew Lucas was tough & has a mallet for a punch, but to My surprise Ajose is also tough as nails & could take a punch & he got clobbered with shots that would put anyone's brain on "neutral or on Parking" for that matter & Ajose would get stunned & his recovery was just amazing cause when I thought he was just about out he came back swinging hard!!Even thou Ajose lost I think he made more fans last night(at least I'm 1 of them)..& Matthysse will break anyone down..I can't wait to see either one of them fight again..Lets see who steps up next against either of these guys..

if for some reason pac picks bradley,i wouldn't mind seeing marquez fight this guy,or of course mathysee against garcia/morales winner,i think he destroys both,an old slow erik hit garcia a lot and morales say what u want,when you get older and have taken a lot of shots well matthysee punches will be just worse,you can only take so much for so long when u getting up there in age,it's not the same to take those vicious shots when you are 26,27 than 36 and really fighting out of your weight when he was young
