  • Barry Bonds......

What are your thought's? I know the roid's issue will be coming up.

I think he was probably among the greatest hitters of all time, though.

His arm was meh, but he was a four tool player.

    Certified asshole, maybe.

But if you go back and look at some the numbers he put up, in an era were pitchers were doping as well....

I think one year, he hit 40+ homers, batted .370, and got 200 walks.

Bonds was always a great player. I guess it depends on how long he was taking steroids, as far as what I think of him. The book that said he used says he started in the late 90s, well by that point he had already been a Hall of Fame, amazing baseball player.

I've never been much a baseball fan, but Bonds was great to watch.

Barry Bonds never failed a drug test. Therefore we shouldn't have ever been suspicious of him according to a lot of people on here .

            Cheaters don't deserve recognition! IMO

How good of a player would he had been if he would of been roid free...?

He got narc'd out in testimony. Never failed a blood or urine test. It was the track athlete samples that started the whole thing IIRC.

He was already 400 + homers, 300 stolen bases in before all the controversy began.

So, yeah. I'd say he was "pretty good".

I have never seen a hitter in my lifetime like him, though, in the "roid" stage.

Probably the most feared I have ever seen.
