The NBA is for the pickin this year, if I still have points before the playoffs, I will make a wager.

Sixers. '95 Bulls were a 2 man team. '83 Sixers had Malone, Dr. J, Cheeks, and Toney (before he busted his feet which ruined him). It's not really fair to post-1990 teams to make those kind of comparisons as the the salary cap and expansion made it impossible to put together "super teams" by that time.

So Rodman is a non-factor in this debate?

We are talking about some of the greatest defenders that have ever played the game, on the wing.

Jordan won a DPOY. In a era of this guy.

Pippen, well, he is over shadowed by 23, but as a defender, not too many can match him.

Jackson called it "Release the Doberman's", for a reason.

          Bull's 4-2.

Rodman wasn't a better rebounder than Malone and unlike Rodman Malone gave 30 points a game and didn't shoot 30% from the line. The Sixers certainly faced better defenders than Rodman since they played the Celtics who had DJ several times a year.....not to mention having to deal with Cooper in the finals. Face it: The Bulls were Jordan, Pippen, and a bunch of one-dimensional role players.

The Sixer's get their heads kicked in.

Lets not get stats up. You will lose.

The problem for you is, outside of Jordan the Bulls lose the stats game hands down (and Jordan's stats aren't that much better than Malone's) :cool9:

Moses Malone 24.5 PPG, 15.3 RPG
Julius Erving 21.4 PPG, 6.8 RPG
Andrew Toney 19.7 PPG, 4.5 APG
Maurice Cheeks 12.5 PPG, 6.9 APG
Bobby Jones 9.0 PPG, 4.6 RPG
                Team 112.1 PPG, 47.9 RPG, 24.6 APG

Michael Jordan 30.4 PPG, 6.6 RPG, 4.3 APG
Scottie Pippen 19.4 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 5.9 APG
Luc Longley 9.1 PPG, 5.1 RPG
Steve Kerr 8.4 PPG, 2.3 APG
Dennis Rodman 5.5 PPG, 14.9 RPG
                Team 105.2 PPG, 44.6 RPG, 24.8 APG

LOL, funny how Bill Walton's public image comes from a title run as Robert Parrish's backup :chuckle9:
