No ones letting a pro boxer punch themselves in the face just so they can try to lure another boxer to fight. That doesn't make sense, every boxer knows one punch can knock them down or even our if a fighter lands it just perfectly.

skip bayless is not only a true fan of sport he's also a terrific debater
he really is. debating is an art
its about knowing your obvective and your opponents arguement
that being said he knows NOTHING about boxing
nothing. he clearly hasnt watched the sport closely for decades. he's incredibly out of touch
he does not know what he's talking about
you think a fighter is waking up at 5 in the morning and running hard miles to let his opponent in the fight?
laugh, bayless
laugh.
you just dont know **** about the great mexican fighter that fought pacuqiao to a standstill and have concocted some crazy conspiracy (that manny was carryign marquez) to lure floyd out
laugh
short sighted observations coming from a "boxing fan" who cares about nothing outside of manny and mayweather and their potential matchup

exactly.
you can ****ing die in there
you train (and your opponent trains) to kill you
and to not be killed
take a ref out of a boxing match and you're looking at a very short threshhold between a stoppage and death
real talk
if a guy gets knocked completely unconscious after being exhausted and absorbing punishment to the brain he's a few baby steps from death.
baby steps
if somebody comes in and stomps on him a few times he's probably going to start bleeding in his brain.
for somebody who has been around the sport for a while (bayless has been covering sports for decades and has been on press row for many big fights) he's clueless.
he's also on the ESPN payroll, and making asenine statements (like manny;s fights only being competative if he carries his opponent) is appealing to their fanbase

4 years now??? That would mean they would have been rumored to fight in 2007??? If I recall, Manny was still at 130 lbs in 2007 and NO ONE was mentioning Pac with Floyd, not even close. But seeing as you may or may not be a Pac bandwagon fan, I can understand why you wouldn't know this.
Ducking Cotto still??? Cotto hasn't been s**t since Margarito KO'd him in 2008, the last time we saw a prime Cotto. Cotto was still good when Manny beat him, but not quite prime. Same with Hatton. If Cotto had been the least bit successful in his fight with Manny, Floyd would fight him. But, Floyd's not going to fight someone who was destroyed already by Manny, unless Cotto somehow came out with a huge win in the next year or so (like beating Martinez or something).
You pac fans all cling to "Floyd ducked this guy or that guy".....what about Pacquiao??? If you want to get technical with it, you can say Pac ducked these people as well. The only people you can even try and say Floyd ducked were Margarito in 06' and Cotto in 08'.
Why didn't Pac fight Raheem in 05', after Raheem had beaten Morales handily??? Why didn't Pac fight Mosley in 09' and 10', instead of finally fighting him after Floyd dominated him and looking god awful against Mora??? Why didn't Pac fight Berto in 10' and early 11' when he was undefeated and looking for a Pac fight??? Why didn't Pac fight Ortiz in 11', instead of Marquez a 3rd time??? Why didn't Pac fight a Barrera rematch until 4 years later when MAB was past his prime??? Why didn't Pac fight the 2nd JMM fight until 4 years later??? Why did Pac all of a sudden want a 3rd JMM fight 3 1/2 years later, when he said he wouldn't fight JMM again???.....Was it so he could avoid fighting Victor Ortiz, after Ortiz looked impressive beating Berto???
All that aside, it's Pac and Arum, not Floyd, who are straight up avoiding negotiations for a fight. The federal judge that mediates negotiations between Floyd and Pac even confirmed it.....why would he be lying???
Also, I find it funny that ESPN First Take didn't cover that breaking news story that happened Monday night on there Tuesday or Wednesday shows, probably because Skip Bayless didn't want to have to comment on it. At least Jim Rome and Dan Rafael, 2 HUGE Floyd haters, finally see the light on who's avoiding the fight.
