  • Pac>Floyd, it's not close either
Pac in present context is finished
but in terms of overall career, he's way ahead of Floyd
getting KTFO at the ass end of his career doesn't change anything
Floyd won't stick around long enough to catch up to Pac

I listen to the facts. Polling shows Pac ahead of Floyd for ATG. And, Floyd doesn't have the numbers for greatness. Refer to post 149.

The information at hand indicates that there seems to be two paths to greatness: numbers and glory. Floyd has neither. Pac has glory. This is why the polling is the way it is.

The Fox News polls said that Romney was going to defeat Obama. You're still proving my point. This site is a bubble, it's not an accurate representation of reality. There are a few good posters here, but mostly it's just a rest haven for fanboys with agendas like you. You're a clown, but the sad part is that you don't even realize it.

Actually you are wrong about the 'not accurate rep' part.

ESB and The Scene are the only two major sources for hard core boxing fans (non casual) left in America. The other sites are mostly smaller and they mirror the same poll results anyways.

Nobody cares what casuals think. The truth of the matter is.. although sites like this and ESB have a lot of trolls: the OVERALL thinking is mirrored by legit boxing writers and analysts.

            Prime Example:
On any of these sites you make a
Lennox Lewis vs Wladimir Klitschko Poll
            and a
            Floyd vs Tommy Hearns Poll:
            (h2h)

Hearns and Lewis wins the polls by a large margin.

NOW.. The vast majority of boxing writers and analysts ALSO pick Lewis and Hearns.. maybe not by as large a margin as the fans on these sites.. but the bottom line is their own thoughts are similar.

It's not as if sites like this is picking
Floyd OVER Hearns or Floyd OVER Robinson..... overall NSB and ESB in terms of polls still do pretty solid in terms of boxing intelligence.

Can't argue the case, so kill the messenger. lol
              That's pathetic.

If your arguments had merit the polling would reflect that.

Skittlez makes a seriously pungent post.

Goldie, stop with the butthurt invective and make an argument or STFU.
If what you and some Floydians have to say resonated, then the polling would reflect that. Can't you see you are defeating yourselves?

If I were you, I would admit that Floyd's obsession with defending his undefeated record has hurt his career. If he fought 3 times per year and was now 75-0, then yes his career path would be leading to greatness. But that's not the case. He simply doesn't have the numbers. If he was planning for a 50 fight career, at best, which is about the norm, he should have gone for the glory.

We're talking about greatness in this thread, not any one particular great performance.

every poll had obama winning except for fox.

we can do this poll anywhere and pac would come out on top.

lmfaaaoo at you calling other people fanboys with agendas when that's exactly what you are you scumbag.

This seems to be a contradiction because Floyd has a better statistical record than Pac. How can this be explained? Has Floyd's reputation decreased like Oscar's?
This is explained simply, by analyzing the delusional fans after Manny's last fight, people crying, making excuses, and lumping Mayweather into the mix even though he had nothing to do with Pacquiao's annihilation. Manny Pacquiao has a huge following, not of boxing experts and people that truly enjoy and understand the sport, no, what Manny has are legions of mindless followers that extend from announcers on HBO to the pudding headed morons that frequent this site.

Floyd's reputation/ATG status isn't decreasing, rather the fanatical love for Manny has increased and no matter what happens in the ring this won't diminish anytime soon. Unlike Mike Tyson whose flaws were apparent Manny can look forward to years more of mindless worship, and Floyd will get what he's been getting all along, ignorance, racism, and "anyone but Floyd."

I'm not "killing" anyone, I'm simply putting things in perspective. This site is heavily anti-Mayweather and pro-Pacquiao. Pacquiao winning this poll is just par for the course. Your arguments for Pacquiao being the greater fighter are garbage and not even worth being taken seriously. You can bask in the fact that you're amongst likeminded biased fanboys if you want. I just call it like it is.
