Price has good fundamentals and great power. Its a shame he has a ***** chin. I can just picture him being on queer street. He just has that kind of face.

it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure out that fury will vacate his titles. fighting price does absolutely nothing for him. he's already held both the british & commonwealth titles. he has fought much better competition the last year price. fighting him is a step backwards. fury beat chisora who is now getting a title shot. fury will be getting much bigger fights then price now. too big a risk for too little reward. i'd love to see the fight & think price will beat him but his fight won't happen for a year or so when the stakes are much higher on a world level not a domestic level. it's not a matter of fury having no stones, it's a matter of money & a future title shot.

This move will save the 23-year-old Fury from taking a risky against the powerful undefeated Price, a heavyweight with one punch knockout power. Price stopped John McDermott in the 1st round last Saturday night in a three knockdown performance in Liverpool, UK.

After the fight, Price said that he hoped Fury wouldn’t vacate his titles and would face him so that the two could find out who the better fighter is. Price further said that Fury would like a “Bit of a coward” if he chooses to vacate his titles. But it look as if Fury is on the verge of doing just that.

In fairness to Fury, the Price fight would be a low paying high risk fight that could potentially prevent Fury from getting a huge payday against one of the Klitschko brothers if he would lose to Price. A win over Price would no doubt help Fury, but he doesn’t need the Price bout in order to get a fight with one of the Klitschkos because they’re willing to fight him without Fury fighting Price. Fury already soundly beat Dereck Chisora last year and that was an impressive win.

One would hope that Fury will go ahead and defend his titles anyway against Price, but according to the echo, it doesn’t that’s going to happen.
Price will be fighting on March 17th on the same card as Sergio Martinez vs. Matthew Macklin at New York’s Madison Square Garden. It won’t be anyone dangerous because needs to keep his record perfect so he can a title shot against one of the world champions.

I like both fighters. Price has better pedigree & boxing acumen but Fury is a mad ****ing Gypo.
If they fought I would say that Price wins within 6 rounds or Tyson wins after that.
But I am usually wrong......

Fury won't want any of this; totally contradicting his 'traveller' tradition.. Can't wait to hear his excuse. but like someone mentioned up top he'll vacate for a european title shot or a like.

But going back to the weekends fight, Mcdermott was an embarrassment - I know he's not known for his physique but he was nowhere near in shape for the fight. Also trying to bum rush a puncher??? wtf?
