Matanong ko lang...hindi kasi pamilyar sa akin yung mga players, si Douthit lang ang kilala ko. Mga PBA selected players ba ang mga yan? Bakit wala na si Chris Tiu?

Looking back. Tim Come ironically an american did a hell of a job winning this tournament in 1998 with an ALL FILIPINO Lineup ( Andy Seigle is the only half all were pure pinoys )

1981 - only pinoy players were on the bench like Frankie Lim, Joel Banal ALL were american players imported by Danding Cojuangco. two were Fil-Ams Ricardo Brown and Willie Pearson

1985- 3 major Players were American 6'8 Dennis Still 6'3 Utility workhorse Jeffrey Moore and 6'2 Sweet shooting and now Spurs shooting coach Arthur 'Chief' Engelland

And of course this years team have 6'11 Nba Draftee Marcus Douthit.

a tribute to the 1998 team. they could have done it if they we together longer and not just a couple of months.

C - EJ Feihl 7'1 * Panakot lang pero pinapasok pag mahina kalaban
              C - Marlou Aquino 6'9
              C - Andy Seigle 6'9
              PF -Dennis Espino 6'7
              PF Jun Limpot 6'5
              PF Alvin Patrimonio 6'3
              SF Vergel Meneses 6'2
              SF Allan Caidic 6'2
              OG Kenneth Duremdez 6'2
              OF Jeffrey Cariaso 6'2

i was still a student in la union when this team and south korea faced each other in the asian games basketball semi-finals...

racela if i remember right carried the team on his shoulders but was unable to sink a very crucial free throw... it was heartbreaking seeing that desperation 3 from korea's PG hit nothing but net...

                  Pre

You're talking about 2002 Asian games SEMIFINAL Match where the Philippines had a 2 point lead and 2 Free Throws with less than 20secs to go

Centenneial team met South Korea in the preliminary and the Koreans brutalized the pinoys by 20pts. Cone almost exclusively prepared for the Chinese * A convenient excuse

In the Semis China beat the pinoys by 9 pts.
