Solid lists overall to be honest.

Dick Tiger has to be in the Top 5 for the 60's, though.

Happy to see Carlos Ortiz getting some recognition aswell.

And Barrera should be Top 5 for 00-09. And obviously Calzaghe out.

I agree, you can take Fighting Harada out of there and probably put Ortiz.

I'm surprise they went with Jofre in that decade and not Ali. I don't think they were wrong but just surprise they did. I think Griffith had an argument to being over Ali for that decade as well.

Is this based on resume/accomplishments, or who they think is the best fighter from that decade ability-wise?

              Same here.

A lot of the choices could easily be swapped by someone else but you've got to expect that for decades like the 60's and so forth that were full of great fighters.

Not suprised by the inclusion of Ali, considering he was both in his prime and undefeated in that decade. Most people usually pick Ali for that decade.

Griffith has more than an argument to be above Ali for the 60's. Infact, Griffith is my FOTD for the 60's. Followed by Carlos Ortiz, followed by Dick Tiger.

Its funny how Floyd gets so much heat for his layoffs yet Sugar Ray Leonard had far more layoffs than Floyd and his layoffs were much longer yet Sugar Ray got fighter of the decade. How do you lose to Roberto Duran, take three years off, barely beat Marvin Hagler, take another year and a half off, and get a draw against Thomas Hearns yet be the fighter of the decade?
