The build up to Floyd Mayweather and Robert Guerrero’s showdown May 4th continued with the second installment of All Access. Many different points were touched as we got a better understanding to each fighters training regimen. We also found out Ruben Guerrero is still pumping iron, talking trash and willing to fight in a parking lot.
While Guerrero’s arrest in New York for carrying an unlicensed weapon was vaguely discussed last week, the show actually opened with Guerrero being released from jail. Guerrero and his team discussed understanding that they need to put the situation behind them for now and concentrate on the fight at hand.
Mayweather and Guerrero will be sharing the ring May 4th but they are also currently sharing the same city as both men are training in Las Vegas, NV. Mayweather is shown heading to gym for his third work out of the day at 1am. Despite his relentless work ethic, we can find some solace in the fact that Floyd doesn’t always like going to the gym; a feeling we can all relate to. But what separates him from the rest of us is he goes anyway as he explains it takes extra commitment to be the best.
