  • (Band Off) The Who vs The Doors

Okay two sixties bands with different sounds and a healthy discography. Both lost a hellraiser. Both wrote massive anthems about their times. Both still get used in great movie soundtracks.

Seeing Roger Daltrey and Eric Clapton Saturday, very excited. IMO, I like the Doors more than The Who though.

        Good match-up.

I honestly would have to say: "Stalemate"

The Who probably. Who's Next is one of the G.O.A.T. albums

Doors never topped their debut album in their entire career.

                  The Who started like this:

                  Came up with this:

                  and this i s****iung genius...:

And Keith Moon DID put his car in his swimming pool but Pete Townshend isn't a paedo. He says he didn't believe there was child **** (I didn't) and searched for it and then the cops came round. Never done anything like that since. Gary Glitter is in jail so this isn't a shelter for paedo celebs like the USA.

The Doors never matched their initial cred.

jim morrison was the gr8est frontman of all time, many of his famous friends (alice cooper most notably) said that they never saw one man do so much drugs.

he was the most interesting person ive ever read about, and the lyrical poems he created still are listened to today.

its just my oppinion but i like the doors more.
