It was a good movie, especially the scenes with the younger kids as they made that movie. It lapsed towards the end, but overrall it was decent.

As for the City of God comparisons, there is no comparison. They are not even alike, except it's set with kids in slums. City of God is a masterpiece, Slumdog is a great movie in it's own right.
