No, SMW-LHW never created any big PPV stars, not even Roy Jones Jr was a big PPV star.

Got be big on 1 or all of these areas.
Got rid of any potential rivals in the Super 6. There's Dirrell, but it's not that serious.

He needs stars along side him and there's nobody at level right now.

        Nope.

He's a great fighter, but more people dislike his style than like it. Not to mention he's a pretty boring guy outside the ring....PPV stars tend to be action packed, controversial or something like that.

no, and why would you want him to be?
Ward now is going through all the best opponents
if he became a big star, he could get diva syndrome
don't get people wanting "the next cash cow"
let's hope Ward stays fighting to win, not to get paid

              Good point.

Ward's biggest problem is clearly the absence of 'stars' for him to beat. You have to beat a star to become a star and who the hell is he going to beat? Even if Jr moves up there's no way they'll put him in with Ward.

No it's impossible to be a PPV star when 90 % of your fights are held in Oakland. A PPV star is made by usually beating another PPV star and knocking everybody out Like Mike Tyson which Ward has not done and will probably never do because of the lack of quality opponents at 168 and 175. He should fight Glovokin that would be a start since Glovokin challenged anyone from 154 to 168

It depends on what you mean by star, millions consistently would be tough but I think Ward can make a good amount of money as long as he keeps winning consistently and he markets himself properly.

                      Yeah. That'll do it.

Fight Golovkin, who nobody outside of us die hards really know about. Automatic PPV record's being set as I type this.
