To address the Obama, NBA, NFL ARGUMENT
There are 432 players in the NBA (78% BLACK)
There are 1696 players in the NFL (70% BLACK)
There are 310,548,866 people in the United States.
For the rest of society, Whites continue to receive more than the majority of government contract (90%), to hold more than the majority of management level jobs in the private sector (90%), to hold more than the majority of tenured faculty positions (90%). Most importantly to be half as likely as blacks to be unemployed.
SO which would you rather have Blacks being 80% of the NBA?
or
To hold more than the majority of management level jobs in the private sector (90%) of all of America.
Barack Obama becoming President does not erased the hundreds of years of Institutionalized racism. Contrary to what the president says about race, in how; “There’s not a Black America and a White America and Latino America and Asian America; there’s the United States of America.”
If we look at measures of success, failure, and power. There is indeed a separation between
Black America,
White America,
Latino America
and Asian America.
In fact, in large pockets of the country there is a Black America, White America, Latino America and Asian America.
However, the facts that has yet to change is the fact that when we look a measures of success, failure, and power. The one group that continues to dominate is White America.
Is it genetics?,
Is it cultural?,
Or maybe is it system that put one group of people on third base while everyone else had to come up to bat. In one particular groups case, they weren’t even allow to play.
So maybe you can understand my frustration for someone to suggest that because African American people have made so many gains in the last 30 years, that now EVERYTHING IS EQUAL.
Too think like this is too completely negligent the facts of reality of current and past Institutionalized racism and discrimination.

I lol'd at "so called" black racism. Horus looks like he's trying to outdo his "boats are great investments" thread.
