  • [HOLY S**T!] Chris Paul to Clips

    Sources: Clippers, Hornets agree

The Los Angeles Clippers have agreed to a deal in principle with the league-owned New Orleans Hornets to acquire guard Chris Paul, according to sources close to the process.

The Clippers, sources said, will send guard Eric Gordon, center Chris Kaman, forward Al-Farouq Aminu and Minnesota's unprotected 2012 first-round pick to the Hornets for Paul.

I think the Clippers gave up too much. I would have kept Gordon or Al. There is no use for Kaman now that they've resigned Jordan.

so now the Clippers have Paul, Bledsoe and Billups?

Clipps still get better but they should have given up Bledoe instead of Gordon.

Dammit. Why couldn't it be the Lakers instead?

                They have:

                Paul
                Foye
                Bledsoe
                Billups
                Mo Williams
                Warren

                AND no shoot guard. smh

I still like Pau, he had a weird series but he tends to bounce back. I think he will play well this year, as long as he doesn't play to many minutes during the season.

Oh well. You can look at it in one of two ways.

We got screwed out of a good PG.

                    or

We dodged a bullet and still have Gasol. While still having mobility to pick up a young pretty good PG to split time with the dead wood.
