Exactly, the same guys who say "you must knock your opponent out for the win to be official" was crying and b*tching for months even until this day that JMM's KO of Pacman was nothing more than a "lucky punch" and therefore could not be credited.

Bunch of idiotic ******s, they need to be lined up in front of a firing squad.

Sucks cause out of the one punch ko artists they are not gonna be popular because most of them are foreign non English speaking fighters. See most very skilled fighters ATM are not big punchers so people don't really like them. And most of the big punchers don't have the skills to hang with the very skillful fighters making them only popular to hardcore fans.
I'm sure there will be a very skillful power puncher come along soon who will have an equally matched opponent. Unfortunately for us we won't see this eras biggest fight which killed off this sport for a while.

many of the top p4p guys haven't been knockout punchers. some were, don't get me wrong, but many of them were not.

whitaker wasn't a knockout puncher [didn't hit like a fly the way some make out, but not a huge puncher by any stretch,] and didn't stop guys all that much even at 135.

ali wasn't a huge puncher, and many of his best opponents went the distance, even though he was 6'3.5" and well over 200 lbs in the 70's.

poopkins can punch a bit, but many of his opponents went the distance when he was @ or around the top of the p4p list.

it happens. your durable opponents can finish the fight if you aren't a massive puncher, even if they're not on your level.

floyd mayweather is an average puncher at best. he's by far the best fighter on the planet right now.

the second best fighter on the planet is also an average puncher. ward is not a big hitter.

rigondeaux is the third best p4p guy on the planet, and though he can punch very hard for a natural bantamweight fighting at 122, he doesn't always stop guys, or endeavor to be aggressive.

many of the greats in history have been boxers without a lot of knockouts.

Floyd has won more than half his fights by knockout... 26 knockouts to 19 decisions, that's actually a good ratio.

floyd has not stopped his opponent in 3 fights......come on, thats kind of pathetic

same with pac, from clottey to bradley (4 decisions) no knockouts

andre ward hardly stops his opponets
Are you smoking crack or something? You better be sorry because you don't have a clue what you are talking about.

It's extremely difficult to knock out top-tier opponents because they tend to have top-tier defensive skills. The majority of most fighters ko's are when they are coming up, not when they are on top.

They get most of their kos from opponents with lower level defensive skills, this can be an inability to hold, no heart, no chin, no ring IQ etc.

If you constantly fight the best in the world, your chances of getting a KO are likely to diminish.

Simple logic I don't see why don't get it.

Your ridiculous. He's basically a 140lb figther he walks around at 147-150 and is fighting guys bigger an heavier and still dominating them. Pple need to show credit when it's due. Show some respect.

We all love a good KO but if that's what you're judging fight on then I question you as a fan of the sport. As long as you win against good comp, that's what really matters.

Floyd does things in boxing, that theoretically you shouldn't be able to pull off... his defense is exceptional--and you want to knock on him for consistently winning? We may not get a chance to witness another talent like Floyd's in our generation so learn to appreciate it while you can.

well its always nice to get the ko but that isnt mayweathers style, he isnt exactly mr. seek and destroy is he! he likes to hit and then make you miss.

with pacman, he is getting on a bit and isnt the same fighter he was 3 or 4 years ago.
