How do you know Joe wont fight him? As long as HBO are willing to finance it, who cares about the draw. How many people bought Hopkins/Calzaghe? That certainly wasn't a draw.

i figured that but how does beating hopkins again(who he beat twice already) chnage the fact that he wont lose to pavlik if he fighst him again?, seems like stupid logic, he should fight ''pavlik'' if he wants to prove he's better than ''pavlik''

makes no sense, even for the money

        LMAO

Nobody wants to fight Froch. Risk is too high and the reward is too low.

If they want Joe next though, and Joe wants to stay in England, then I can't understand not succumbing to the man with the upper hand and going to England. Then again, I can't blame him for not wanting to fight Joe in front of 50K frantic hometown fans for what will be billed as a retirement fight. I personally think they should forget Joe altogether, for the time being at least.
But he's willing to go to Canada and fight Pascal?

If you ask me, he'd make just as much money fighting in England then he would in Canada IMO.

He's afraid of going out of his comfort zone just like he was when he had the chance to come over here and fight Calzaghe. His got no bollox whatsoever!

Canada and England are entirely different ballgames, admittedly because of the stigma of crossing the ocean vs. crossing an imaginary border. Silly as it sounds, it's probably the reason.

I don't know why DiBella wouldn't try to get Pascal to Atlantic City or Vegas though. Going to Montreal makes little sense. No doubt Froch would come to the U.S. also if it meant a fight with an HBO darling.

A Pavlik or Hopkins fight makes no sense at all. DiBella is a joke.

How many people would buy tickets in the U.S. for a Taylor-Pascal fight? There would be at very least 18k people in Montreal. If HBO is willing to broadcast from Montreal, then why not?

Maybe he's looking after his bank account, but at what expense? A Calzaghe fight might earn Taylor enough to retire on, but he's got little shot at winning until he improves his stamina and builds his confidence.

And DiBella has shown zero interest in Froch from day one. Is he scared of the guy? Why not at least show some initiative and TRY to get him a decent purse to come to the states.

It's interesting to hear that he would send Taylor to Montreal to fight Pascal in his hometown, but sounds reluctant to even attempt to sell a Froch fight.

And a third Pavlik fight would need to happen at 168. A third Hopkins fight at 168-170, but no higher than that.

What Taylor's camp needs to be doing more than anything for their fighter is keeping him busy. Put him in against a Contender bum next, or Miranda, or Green... whoever, just keep him BUSY. JT needs to fight again by February... maybe March at the LATEST.
I don't think people really want to see the same fight over again. He's 2-0 vs. Hopkins, 0-2 vs. Pavlik - fight someone else already, Jermaine

Pascal is getting splattered. Carl is a monster.

I reckon calzaghe should take the Taylor fight if it's offered. Easy money.
