How many individuals who claim that "O" is easing the country into a socialized governance, can honestly state that they have never benefited in some way from a Gov. sponsored program.

Now that is a very comprehensive list, and unless everyone making a claim against any form of Socialism, is wealthy beyond belief ... They have benefited from at least a few of the above mentioned programs.

Which raises the question: If all the complainants are so against any form of Socialism, why didn't they reject assistance during their time of need?

It would seem outright hypocritical to denounce programs, that they willingly use whenever they have a necessity ...... Don't you think???
You should've read my next post after that before posting this.....as I have made it clear that I don't think all of them are doing this because they want their freedoms back

But it's good to know that you're still carrying the waterbucket for the "winner who will destroy this country".

For those who are genuine and are not happy the Federal Govt. destroying our economic system and individual liberty, they may wanna look into stuff like this:

Destroying is the present tense ... It has already been destroyed {past tense} and we are now witnessing the collapse, live and in living color. Unfortunately, many do not understand the complexities of why this is a reality, but what has been done over the last fifty years have brought this country to where it is now, on the brink.

For some to now adopt a secessionist attitude, is like getting out to sea in an ocean liner, with a typhoon bearing down on it, and then deciding that the boat and its Captain cannot save the boat or its inhabitants.

We are all stuck on the boat and just have to deal with whatever happens.

A-a-and somehow this thread turns into ****ting on the south as redneck morons who should eliminate themselves from the earth despite prominent liberal bastions such as New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and Oregon being prominently included on this obviously hyperbolic nonsense of a list. Big surprise.

It's funny you used that analogy considering the link i posted. Did you read it?

Seasteading on oil rig-like platforms. Thanks to Capitalist Peter Thiel and his investment....they got the ball rolling on this. If you make enough money in the next few years or decades...you just might be lucky enough to be qualified and accepted to live there, amongst other semi-rich to wealthy individuals....as I'm sure they won't accept people who are on the dole.

It sounds like a good idea on paper ... But ... I think they should reconsider their weapon policy If conceptual and theoretical agreements go south, it can become a ripe opportunity for an organized militia to take and keep control.

The idea is for these countries to start from scratch--free from the laws, regulations, and moral codes of any existing place. Details says the experiment would be "a kind of floating petri dish for implementing policies that libertarians, stymied by indifference at the voting booths, have been unable to advance: no welfare, looser building codes, no minimum wage, and few restrictions on weapons."

Add to that, a very unpredictable, merciless and unforgiving ocean, and you can have a lot of problems.
