  • Hypocrisy of Socialism

I work for a company that mostly deals with Venezuela, our business is going great if it wasn't for this piece of human trash called Hugo Chavez.

He preaches against the U.S everyday, he says "It's wrong to be rich and have nice things." He tells his people the evils of the U.S and how they are blood suckers that have exploited the rest of the world and the people of Latin America.

He claims to be a man of the people for the people, living the same as the people he governs over.

    Here is the truth:

    http://www.taringa.net/posts/imagene...-que-veas.html

All his nephews, nieces, sons and daughters. Wife, mother, brothers and sisters. Living in the lap of luxury, million dollar mansions, American cars and vehicles. Trips all over the world, jewelry, the best clothes.

All the while his people are starving to death. A country in which 34% of the people are under the poverty line. A country that was once considered the jewel of South America. One of the best if not the best country to live in South America and now he has socialized all the businesses. Shut down all tv stations that are not pushing his propaganda daily. He's taken all freedom of the press away and killed many people to silence them.

He calls the Americans evil, while attending baseball games, sitting on American war ships, riding in American helicopters to take his family to the beach.

Bleeding the country dry of it's resources just so he can spread the "Revolution" that was started by Castro. Hypocrisy at it's finest.....

Fuk Socialism, it will never work because of the nature of human beings.

The dude is no better than any petty dictator before him. He started out ok but eventually succumbed to the same bull**** everyone else always does.

But then again, you're a rotten commie yourself, so I'm not surprised you support him.

So the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (with its allies Fatherland for All and the Communist Party of Venezuela) isn't socialist?

Why don't you explain to us what they are, comrade?

Never said Venezuela was completely Socialist but it's getting there. I got my facts straight, I live this **** everyday.

He has is destroying the country little by little. He's threatening the West, dealing with Iran, giving them Uranium, buying war ships and fighter jets from Russia.

He's a hypocrite, just like all socialists. They preach one thing and do another.

I mean he changed the constitution of the country just so he could have no term limits as president.

          That's equality? That's justice?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with this. Everyone deals in this stuff.

But I don't agree with the abolition of term limits and the state controls he's imposed.

In a way its a sensitive situation to judge because the U.S works the same way for the most part but under the title of "democracy".

Our media is basically a mouthpiece for the State Department and the DOD.

We just call it "free press" so people get suckered. But really the MSM is a state propaganda mechanism here. We're not exactly in a position to throw stones at Chavez in that regard.

have you ever lived in a 3rd world country? If you haven't you can't talk. There is 1 million times the freedom of press and media in the U.S there is anywhere in Latin America or any Socialist or Communist counrty.

While every country pushes it's own agenda and "looks out for itself" so to speak, in the U.S you can still criticize the govt without fear of reprisal, everyone from News Agencies to comedians do this every single day.

Chavez has shut down every single radio and tv station, he's changed the Constitution. He's made a mockery of the Democracy that was built in Venezuela.

I knew the U.S would be on trial here, it's not about the U.S. I am fully aware of the things the U.S has done to benefit itself, my point is that you can't preach one thing and do another like Chavez, Castor and Guevara did before him.

I would respect him a lot more if he means what he says and says what he means. Instead, people in Venezuela are living in poor conditions, violence is out of control in that country and he's taking trips with his family to the Mayan Riviera sippin on Don Perignon...

                  Hopefully it gets there.

Chavez has done a lot of good for his country, you cannot deny that. The poor people love chavez for a reason (free healthcare, education, better standard of living, etc etc etc).

Now of course, chavez has made a lot of mistakes on the way. But he is a lot better than what was before him.

I don't blindly follow chavez like some leftists do, I will criticize him where I feel fit, and praise him when he does good.

Hopefully he will continue to improve, but chances are he may not (if history teaches us anything).

He has is destroying the country little by little. He's threatening the West, dealing with Iran, giving them Uranium, buying war ships and fighter jets from Russia.
Actually the west (US) has been threatening him. Oh I suppose you forgot the Coup attempt to overthrow him which was led by the CIA???

Further, the US is massively building up military presence in latin america, determined to destabilize venezuela and latin america as a whole even further. Chavez is only reacting in a normal manner, which is to be prepared for what is to come.

He's a hypocrite, just like all socialists. They preach one thing and do another.
All socialists are hypocrites? There are good ones and bad ones, just like anything else.

I mean he changed the constitution of the country just so he could have no term limits as president.
Did the people vote yes or no?

Establishment left over but believe me, he's trying to rid the country of them.

Our company has been in existence for over 40 years and he is basically telling the banks they can't change the Bolivar to the dollar so "capitalistic" companies like ours can't get paid and go out of business.

The fuked up thing is, it's killing the Venezuela's economy.
