Oscar promised the winner of Cotto-Margarito a fight[probably thinking it would have been the shorter, smaller, more vulnerable at the time, Miguel Cotto].

"There's an interesting fight happening, Miguel Cotto against (Antonio) Margarito (on July 26), that should be interesting to watch. Maybe I can get the winner. We'll see."

    Then after Margarito beat Cotto:

It was just a duck fest of epic proportions, that backfired against the duckers and cherrypickers. De La Hoya was scared of Margarito, cherrypicked Pacquiao and got knocked out. Margarito wanted no part of Paul Williams and instead cherrypicked the aging Shane Mosley coming off a not so great performance against Mayorga, and got knocked out worse than De La Hoya. The cherrypickers got picked apart

undefeated has nothing to do with being the GOAT

Well isn't that his point? With names like Pac, Floyd, Tito, Hopkins, Mosley etc etc. All while being undefeated(therefor beating those guys) where would he be ranked?

He was "so past it" his previous fights against Rivera 2x and Hurtado prove that. Whitaker against Oscar, was Whitaker last great fight. Which all great fighters have.

he'd be the GOAT even with a lose on one of those dudes u named just not lose on 2 or more of those which he did

Margarito has never ducked anybody, and he won all of the late rounds against Williams.

If that was a 15 rounder, he would have beat him.

DLH is like Shane Mosley. He fought everybody.

                    If DLH beat:

                    Hopkins
                    Trinidad
                    Mayweather
                    Pac
                    Mosley

Yes, he would've been the GOAT. You can possibly throw Winky Wright in there to seal the deal.
