  • Comments Thread For: Lou DiBella: Golovkin Has Never Fought Anybody Good

Promoter Lou DiBella is not yet convinced that IBO/WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (26-0, 23KOs) is the real deal. Golovkin is pushing hard to face DiBella's main star, WBC champion Sergio Martinez, but first another of DiBella's fighters, Matthew Macklin (29-4, 20KOs), will test Golovkin's spirit and will on June 29th at Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut.

Neither did Sergio before P-Will gave him a chance, and his career seemed to do just fine after that.

That's fine for now. But if and when Golovkin beats Macklin, dibella better not be saying this kind of sht anymore.

YES GGG hasn't fought elite guys yet but there arent alot of guys wanting to fight him either.

GGG to has great power and an exciting style, but has showed so defensive flaws like lack of head movement and may also have stamina problems late in tough fights against a fighter that can weather the storm the first 6 rounds and do damage late ala JMM vs diaz or katsidis
