Cuba’s Odlanier Solis (17-1) got paid plenty for his risk on Saturday night. In the first round, he went down from a Vitali Klitschko right hand, and during the fall he injured his right knee. The fight was stopped before a booing crowd of 19,000 in Cologne, Germany. According to multiple reports, the three minutes of action earned the 2004 Olympic Gold medalist a handsome purse of $1.8 million USD. For his part, Klitschko, 39, earned $15 million.

Solis and Oner made out like bandits.

SpongeBob Solis will take his money, balloon to 350 pounds and never be heard from again.

But Vitali wanted to work for his money.

SpongeBob Locknee and Ahmet Oner took the money and ran.

You won't see Solis in the ring again for a long time, maybe ever.

Can't front. Solis would have never made that much in the US. That will most likely be his highest paid fight of his entire career. Solis came off like Clottey.
