Motorpoint Arena, Sheffield, Yorkshire - Former amateur standout Khalid "Kal" Yafai (4-0, 3 KOs) completely annihilated once-defeated Scott Gladwin (5-2) in two very hurtful rounds. Gladwin was down three times in the first after taking the damaging blows of Yafai to the body and to the jaw, and another fall was ruled a slip despite being a result of another of Yafai's right hands. The latter got the job done at 1:05 of the second after Gladwin went down again after a big right hand to the chest. This bout was fought in the bantamweight division.
