TS is a South Korean, who I know from the board. He's just asking a question. Btw, all S. Korean males must serve in the military.

I'm guessing that since in Korea it's a normal duty to serve, it shouldn't be a big deal. When it comes to Americans stationed in say Korea or Japan, the dynamics are a bit different I think.

Possibly some girls don't like the military, although I don't think they'll hold it against you, since you are just doing your duty.
