Sources have advised BoxingScene.com that junior middleweight contender Erislandy Lara (16-1-1, 11KOs) will take a stay-busy fight on June 30th against Freddy Hernandez (30-2, 20KOs). The fight will be televised by Showtime from the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California. Hernandez returns from last October's upset decision over former champion Luis Collazo.

Rematch with Molina would be much better than this. I'm a huge Lara fan but I need to know he defeats Molina.

Not a bad fight at all Hernandez just beat southpaw luis Callazo in his last fight, knocking him down in the process. Freddys a better fighter at 154 Russel Mora the dumbest referee ever shouldnt have stopped that Berto fight after 1 simple knockdown in the first round. Berto was probably juiced up for that fight anyway.

You can't blame Lara for staying busy.

Well it is what it is. Lara needs to just get his fights on TV, dominate, and hope he can catch a break sooner than later. Hopefully this is happening because they are trying to build up the idea of a K9-Lara fight next.

This is a good little fight.

Good fight for Lara to stay busy, seeing how that's about all he can do (aside from rematch Molina).
