Pedro Diaz was too busy with Cotto while Solis was stuffing himself with pork sandwiches.

So much for all the talk about Solis when he cant even get into the right shape and comes in one of his highest weights ever. Stick a fork in him, he's done.

267 is big but ive seen him in worse shape & considering his time off after 3 surgeries. he probably put on lots of weight while hurt. it wouldnt surprise me if he was over 300lbs when off. he will take airich out easily then it's time to start getting himself ready for another title run. shake off the rust tonight & then get serious...

Solis needs to drop 25-30 lbs at least. It can be done. Malik Scott weighed in at 220-230 in his early bouts, but was all the way up at 255 prior to his layoff. He return 3 months ago after a long long layoff, and weighed in at 225. It can be done.

Odlanier Solis should know better than to start a sentence with "I'm hungry" regardless of what he is talking about.

If he embraced training the way he does pork chops he would be the consensus #3 Heavyweight by now.

This fight should be okay for Solis, If he can box for at least 6-8 rounds, with that he can get over the knee problem. After this one I hope he stay busy. 230lb should be his goal.
