Steven Gamache — a junior middleweight who is the son of former two-division titleholder Joey Gamache — was arrested last week in Maine after allegedly being found with two hydrocodone pills in his possession, according to the Lewiston-Auburn Sun Journal.
Gamache, 29, had been pulled over during a traffic stop and did not have a prescription for the drug, according to the article.
“Police said Gamache told the officer a co-worker had given him the pills to treat an unspecified medical condition,” the article said.
