Actually apparantly, the lighter skinned asians look down on the darker skinned asians.

A female friend told me that the phillipinos, and thais get looked down on by chinese, japanese and koreans (the big 3) because chinese jap and koreans are light skinned whereas the 3 others are dark skinned and are usually in low paid jobs like phillipino maids.

it's not restricted to nationalities looking down on under nationalities.

generally even the same nationalities are looked upon in similar fashion.

i think it comes from the old days.

light skinned means noble/rich (doesn't work in the sun)

dark skinned means peasant (works in the sun)


think of the european term "blue blood" for nobles/rich.

it comes from being light skinned and able to see veins.

Blacks are the better athletes easy, i remember my sport teacher in school telling me something that they have a slightly different bone structure in the heel of their foot which also helps them to run faster? whites are more intelligent though.
