Well p4p is subjective, Marquez fought (and some think beat) a common p4p top 5 fighter in Pacquiao 3 times. Pacquiao was a lot of people's number 1 or 2 p4p for a while, and still is for many. But just to name a few fighters Marquez fought:

Manny Pacquiao (x3)
Marco Antonio Barrera
Juan Diaz (x2)
Joel Casamayor

Nobody. People make their name by fighting Pac it seems. It dont matter if Pac beat Ward and Sergio as long as JMM can do well against Pac and no one else it dont matter he ranks above Pac we are supposed to believe?

Pac beat Margarito, who was 3 divisions heavier and beat Miguel and stopped him. JMM cant boast these things, so until he can prove himself against other opponents other than Pac, JMM is not higher p4p than Pac.

Says it all that the Pacquiao achievements people are pointing to are from several years ago. Yeah I'd have that Pac ahead of JMM on any P4P list, but not the one who got outboxed by Marquez last year, and not the one who looked so sluggish and workmanlike against Bradley.

JMM and Pac are 1-1-1 in my books, therefore equal in terms of p4p.

youre not serious are you? pacquiao fought bigger names but that doesnt always equal better fighters, especially under the circumstances he fought some of them.

for example marquez knocking out either diaz or casamyor was a better win in my book than hatton, margarito, clottey, mosley or dlh were for pacquiao just to name a few.
