  • Top Rank and Golden Boy

How many fight deals have been worked out between these two over the past couple of years? There are a lot of people caught up in the who ducked who argument but I am interested to know exactly how many fight deals have these two worked out with each other.

Pretty sure the only fights between Top Rank and Golden Boy fighters lately are the ones that went to purse bids, not that were actually worked out between the two.

Here are a couple of fights Top Rank did with Golden boy over the years.

Pacquiao vs Barrea 2 first fight done since the first truce.
      Pacquiao vs. Marquez 2
      Pavlik vs. Hopkins
      Pacquiao vs. De La Hoya
Pacquiao vs. Hatton - I think this was the last one?

All the ones with paq make sense because he was partially under contract with Golden Boy as well. So that would leave Pavlik Hopkins as one of the only fights where both fighters belonged solely to the other company. What about Mosley Paq?

Lara vs Vanes but that one could have gone to purse bid.

                Ponce vs Gamboa?

Mosley left GB to fight Pac, and so did Marquez to fight pac a third.
