Ban this sport. What is the point of seeing who can go down a hill of snow on a pair of wooden sticks the fasted. These cats reach 70-80 mph at points or more. Maybe they should hold the World Cup on bunny hills to make sure that these tragedies never happen again.
Ofcourse I am being sarcastic, it's never funny when somebody dies, but you will hear no cries for the abolition of the sport. Not from the press, not from the television reporters, not from anybody. Leave boxing alone if you're not going to throw stones at World Cup Skiing now. The professional skiers, just the same as the professional boxers, know the extreme danger of the sport in which they compete......Rockin'
