Australian legend Jeff Fenech has confirmed to several outlets in Australia that former three division world champion Shane Mosley has abandoned the fight with Anthony Mundine, scheduled to take place on Wednesday in Sydney. Fenech says Mosley was seen preparing to board a flight at Sydney Airport. Promoter Vlad Warton was desperately trying to save the fight, but Mosley skipped out after non-payment of $700,000 that he was owed for the bout. Mosley had been given an $300,000 advance on the fight.
