BoxingScene.com has been advised that promoter Gary Shaw submitted the winning bid to secure the rights to Marvin Quintero's mandatory challenge of IBF lightweight champion Miguel Vazquez (31-3, 13KOs). Shaw was the sole bidder with a monetary submission of $50,000. Quintero (25-3, 21KOs) vs. Vazquez will now land on Shaw's HBO televised card on October 27th at Turning Stone Casino in Verona, New York.

Shaw is 1 cheap SOB...50K for a title???That's why we need a national commission w/minimums a guy get 4 a title...50K split 70/30 or 60/40 after trainers, mgrs, sparring, etc.. and takes , lucky if 1 of them make 10k...
