Why is it so common for the really interesting fights to always be two fights away?

it's typical Top Rank bull$****. Donaire wanted to face Chemito but that fight was killed the secong he resigned with Top Rank and all of the sudden Chemito "priced himself out". instead he fought Argentine midget Narvaez.

        Arum loves making mismatches

Has WV2 even fought since losing to Arce?

Im sure the Nonitards will call it an Epic match and give Nonito P4P #1 status once he wins. Because WV2 has WV genes in him, it means Nonito is actually better than classic fighters. Fighter of the Decade already.

nonito will get a pass from some of his fans, should have seen ppl defending that fight the other day. damn shame, the kid has been one big fight away for the last 5 yrs. lol...he fights a high level opponent, then goes on a tomato can tour for 1 or 2 years. rinse and repeat. with his kinda talent, its a waste.

So, Nishioka is the most interesting - and possibly the most lucrative - option for Donaire at the moment? That's great. Nishioka is running out of time and is hungry for a payday and a showdown with someone of Donaire's calibur. I don't know how Fil fans and US fans are feeling, but I for one am looking forward to the matchup of these two as a JP fight fan.

Donaire ain't that young either, as talented as he is and considering the opposition that lies at 118-126, he has the opportunity to enhance his legacy greatly, I wish he would have fought Nishioka instead...
