Top Rank is bullshitting. They're just trying to get his name out there. Gesta is nowhere near a big enough opponent to fill up the Cowboys stadium.

If a Mediocre 126 lb Jorge Solis can fight a prime Pacquiao then 135/140 lb Gesta can fight a fading 39 yr old Marquez.

Gesta has nothing to loss fighting Marquez, He can gain experience fighting World Mexican Boxing Star. Regardless of the result Gesta, still has time to sharpen up his talents, as he is still young.
