Which doesn't really work, because Prize Fighters don't have a particular schedule that they follow. A Championship caliber fighter could fight three times a year or just once, like Mayweather.

Maybe someone wants to take the whole year off, what then? Just keep taking blood out of him at at any particular time because he is technically an active fighter?

It's stupid, this pu$$y footing around. I personally would get rid of the already in place drug testing, other than for STD's. Let the fighters do what they want, without restrictions. Let them reach their maximum human potential, whether it be going on a Banana Diet, or a Steroid cocktail diet. At the end of the day, you still gotta get your moves/skill sets down. If you gotta a sloppy style with slapping punches, no amount of performance enhancers are going to help you.

so basically a STEROIDGIO MARTINEZ rule 4 all fighters. valid point. the only problem s the amount of PEDs sum1 wud have 2 take b on an even playing field w/ STEROIDGIO is almost suicidal.

Floyd is the one getting on his high horse about testing, but his standard of testing leaves huge gaps where boxers can use what ever PEDs they like.

Testing in boxing needs to be improved, but don't be fooled for a minute by thinking Floyd's testing prevents PEDs being used.

And if testing is going to be improved in boxing the commission have to do it, not requests by boxers.

If Floyd is really interested in doing this for the good of the sport, why hasn't he lobbied the commisions, the sanctioning bodies, signed up to WADA, gained support from other boxers, made all the boxers in the Mayweather stable do these tests, and the GBP stable as they were backing theses tests too.

NSAC has the best testing in boxing and has caught a lot of boxers using banned substances. They used the WADA prohibited list as well.

Some commisions are a joke and have no testing at all.

Testing needs improving in boxing but don't be fooled for a second that Floyd's tests are the answer or that he really wants better testing in boxing.

Didn't Didn't destroy RRJ when he got caught using PEDs, but his performance did start slipping after that happened.

It's not cheating, if it's made legal, sport.

And both fighters would be allowed to do it. Which means the technical boxer could use it too.

This whole war on catching steroid users has failed, just like the War on Drugs (Cocaine, Heroin, Marijuana). When legalizing it all would save everybody lots of headaches and save money in the process.

Huh??? Roy Jones was out of his prime when he started to lose, with the exception of the first Tarver loss.
