Too many flojobs in here crying "but Manny said/did....", without actually dealing with the very obvious fact that floyd doesnt do random testing. 2 months out of 12?!? Come on, is it that difficult to figure out why he shouldnt be voicing an opinion about this?

lol i do enjoy your attempt at trying to defend floyd though..you must really love him ..that's very cute.

Yes, it has caught several fighters, but does that mean it is catching everyone? Testing 365 would be a much better attempt at catching as many as possible.
Thats the reason why it is done for Olympic athletes. Why should boxers have a less severe standard of testing?
Floyd does deserve some credit, yet i feel he didnt start talking about testing until he firstly accused Pac of being juiced (or suggested), which i feel is wrong.
Plus, typically Floyd is only concerned with his ego. He wants his dues. he should just be happy he helped improve the sport.
But thats Floyd, great for boxing, but still manages to taint it.
You guys aren't practical whatsoever.
It is not practical for Floyd to do random drug testing year-round because the way the boxing business is structured. If Floyd is doing year-round testing, what about his opponents? His opponents won't be doing it, that is for certain. And if his opponents are not doing it, it defeats the purpose! Random testing is to protect BOTH fighters, not just one.
Secondly, random drug testing year-round is EXPENSIVE! For just two months alone, Floyd has to pay USADA like $100K. You think they can do random testing for each and every legitimate fighter? And who's going to pay for it? The Promoters? The Commission? It's not practical unless it's done all across the board, for the majority of fighters. Unless it's done like that, it makes no sense whatsoever.
