  • Should Mickey Bey Jr. be suspended for PEDs?

Mickey Bey Jr. of Mayweather Promotions, trained by Mayweather Sr tests positive for extreme levels of testosterone.

BoxingScene reported that Mickey Bey tested positive for a highly elevated level of testosterone.

Bey's testosterone to epitestosterone ratio was greater than 30:1 -- Nevada rules allows for a maximum of 6:1.

Kizer said Bey's T/E ratio was the second-highest ever in Nevada history, with another fighter once having a ratio of more 60-1. Elevated testosterone suggests steroid usage.

    Things to consider:

-He tested positive in Nevada which raised its ratio to 6:1 over the usual 4:1

-Was caught via NSAC standard test, and we know how useless these are. How jacked was he to test positive with NSAC?

-UFC's Alistair Overeem's T/E ratio when he was caught was 14:1

-UFC's Chael Sonnen's T/E ratio when he was caught was 16.9:1

Yes, he should be fined and suspended

No, let him claim "testosterone deficiency" like Peterson

Yeah I want to know too. lol.

But yeah that's a serious sign of steroid usage. Maybe he's using an alternative.

There's alot of legal logistics that go into suspensions, this is how fighters are able to sneak past the loopholes

What do you think he's on though? Does HGH effect your T/E levels?

lol, forget 60:1, look at this MMA ****.

                    JOHNNIE MORTON
Caught: 6/13/07, following his 38-second knockout loss against Bernard Ackah at Dynamite!! USA.
Tested positive for: Unspecified anabolic steroids. Morton’s pre-fight urine test came back as positive for a very elevated T/E (testosterone) ratio — 83.9, when the average for an athlete is 6.
Punishment: $2,500 fine and an indefinite suspension from the California State Athletic Commission. Morton’s $100,000 purse was also withheld after he refused to take a post-fight drug test. He hasn’t competed since.
