I've always been tempted too read that series, but due to the fact that the original author died before completing it along with word of mouth saying it went to shit at the end, I've been put off. I hope this doesn't happen to ASOIAF and Martin doesn't croak before completing the damn thing.

Let's hope he doesn't BUT he has already told the people who made the show how it will end for the most part. So we may still have some closure, just not the kind of closure we would like, especially book readers.

Without and spoilers I wonder if we get to see Tywin fight? You can't be the ruler of 7 kingdoms and not have serious fighting skills.
