Are there more families being added or just the Starks, Targaryens, and Lannisters?

The Baratheon's come in to things more in season 2 (Stannis and Renly, who are Robert's younger brothers).

The Tyrell family play a small part in season 2, they are the family that control Highgarden, one of the 7 Kingdoms.

The Martell family (who control Dorne, another of the Kingdoms) come in to it a bit in the 3rd book and more in the 4th.

The Freys come into things in the 2nd and 3rd book.

The Greyjoy family (Theon Greyjoy's family who control the Iron Islands - another one of the Kingdoms) play a pretty big part in the 2nd book.

The Tully family (Catelyn Stark's family) come into thngs too.

HBO just announced that a new trailer for Season 2 of Game of Thrones will be debuting on HBO this Sunday, at 8:59 pm, just before the series premiere of the new HBO drama, Luck. This trailer will feature new episodic footage and will be the first extended look at the new season.

On top of this, a short graphic teaser for Season 5 of True Blood will be airing at 8:58pm.
